…since my second eye was implanted (with the Crystalens® implant) I am not using glasses at all. I can now even read relatively small print in poor lighting. After 6 months, I still am not wearing glasses for any activities, including reading small print!

One of the biggest improvements in vision is that colors now appear much more accurate. With cataracts, or cloudy lenses, colors seemed to be somewhat brownish. After surgery, white is very white, and other colors are more vivid and saturated.

"After receiving a complete and thorough examination….Dr. Yu discussed with me the various intraocular lens options. I was given counseling and given educational materials to read to help me decide which option I felt was best for me. After reviewing all of the material, I decided that the Crystalens® would be the best option for me.

The surgery was performed and the Crystalens® implanted in both eyes. I could not believe the difference in my vision. I truly had not realized that my vision had deteriorated to such an extent until it was restored. My quality of life has been greatly improved.
